One of the goals of the Morris Police Department is to reduce accidents in our community. This is achieved by a dedicated traffic unit as well as regular patrols. In 2009 the Morris Police Department handled 546 accidents on public roadways. That number fell to 358 in 2010, 359 in 2011 and to 342 in 2012..
