On behalf of the Morris Police family, I would like to welcome you to our internet homepage.  I am honored to have the privilege to serve this beautiful and unique riverfront community as Chief of Police.  The hardworking men and women of this department are driven by their service to the community, their pride in their work and their ability to honor the integrity of the police profession.

Accidents Statistics:


One of the goals of the Morris Police Department is to reduce accidents in our community. This is achieved by a dedicated traffic unit as well as regular patrols. In 2009 the Morris Police Department handled 546 accidents on public roadways. That number fell to 358 in 2010, 359 in 2011 and to 342 in 2012..
